Our Vision - Bridging the gap between graduation and employment.

At present, in most West African Countries, graduate unemployment is creating a 'disillusioned generation' of job seekers. Those who are fortunate enough to find employment, often end up working in careers unrelated to their degree.

 African Career Decisions has been set up to bridge that gap through innovative, pro- active and result- driven initiatives.
We are very proud of our track record to date. Having achieved a high level of success in the UK in the area of youth career development and support, we have become acutely aware of the impact our service will have in West African Countries.

The One-Stop-Shop Career Service Centre provides:

• Work experience and Internship opportunities
  
• Employment initiatives
• Outreach seminars and workshops
• Careers advice information and guidance
• Overseas exchange programme
• Information and library services
• Post graduate information and advice
• Scholarship schemes for masters programme

We currently work in partnership with international organizations who support and fund development initiatives in Africa.
We also partner with local career advice organizations within West Africa, who are already in this field of work.
Other stakeholders include organizations within the banking, education, legal, oil and accounting industry.

Our team of Directors is:

Freda Jacobson- BSC, PG Dip (Careers guidance),  MA education, CTIL 

Anita Onyeledo – BA, MSc International relations, PG Dip (Education and Training)..

Linda Adeyemi-Hastrup- LLM, BL, MA (international peace and security)

Kemi Balogun -   B.Ed ( Education and Guidance and Counselling)

Our consultants are fully qualified and experienced career advisers who have behind them many years of work, guiding and advising young people.
