Business development is among the foremost concerns of any organization, and as a manager, much of your attention will be devoted to developing and exploiting the business opportunities that are presented to you and your company.

Business development and making your organization successful is reliant on good knowledge of best practice and management theories.

• NVQ in Hairdressing Levels 1, 2 & 3

Level 1 is an introduction to hairdressing. This level is geared at or target beginners who want to become qualified hairdressers. Level 1 is based on assisting technical staff in the salon. It is aimed at those who are undertaking work experience in a realistic working environment.

Level 2 is qualification for junior level. This level covers basic skills and knowledge which would allow the candidate to work more effectively on their own. Level 2 qualifications are the minimum standard required to work effectively in a salon.

Level 3 targets qualifications for anyone wanting to be a really proficient professional in hairdressing. It expands upon the skills of Level 2 and are aimed at those wanting to enter the top level of their profession or become salon managers and owners. It is also aimed at people who have been in the industry for some time but are looking to upgrade or accredit their skills.

Duration: Level 1 - 6 Months. Level 2 - 8 Months. Level 3 - 10 Months.

Course fees:

Level 1 - Fees are £600 for home(EU), £750 for funded students and £900 for international students.

Level 2 - Fees are £800 for home(EU), £900 for funded students and £1,000 for international students.

Level 3 - Fees are £900 for home(EU), £1,250 for funded students and £1,500 for international students.
